George asks…
Why is my Whirlpool dryer blowing both the thermal fuse and thermal cutout at the same time?
Whirlpool dryer, appox. 6 years old. Recently replaced thermostat and thermal fuse (kit) as well as the element with brand new parts. Dryer ran for one load, then when I went to run second load 2 days later it would not turn on at all. Both the thermal fuse (white) and the thermal cutout are both blown. Aren’t these dryers designed to blow one or the other, not both at once?

admin answers:
Most likely your venting is clogged up with lint causing the dryer getting too hot.

Lizzie asks…
Where can I find a parts store for my Whirlpool ler4534pq dryer? ?
I live in the fishers area.

admin answers:
Go to the website below and enter the part number in the search box. They will show you several possible parts (all Whirlpool) and you’ll have to choose whichever you need.

Chris asks…
Stores that carry Whirlpool parts?
Please name me some national chain stores (like Sears, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, etc…) that you know carry parts for a Whirlpool dryer (specifically a belt). Thanks!

admin answers:
Sears would be the most likely, but they probably won’t have the Whirlpool part that you need. Look in the yellow pages under “appliances-parts….” or something similar to locate a Whirlpool dealer that would carry the part. You can also order parts online from places like:

Good luck!
